Alessandré’s practice explores how economics and marketing influence daily life, blending high and low culture through an interdisciplinary lens.
Trained in printmaking at Michaelis and later completing a master’s in digital creation, she investigates the communicative potential of both traditional and digital techniques.

Her work prioritizes accessibility, public engagement, and collaboration—often occupying the space between DIY and digital art to create projects that invite interaction and community dialogue.

A recurring theme in Alessandré’s work is appropriation: the re-use and re-imagining of symbols and cultural icons. This process becomes a means of acknowledging the references that shape her environment and sensibility, contributing to an interdisciplinary artistic practice. Art, in this context, functions as a conversation between different ideas, disciplines, and histories.

Through such dialogues, artists act as innovators—not by inventing in isolation, but by reconfiguring existing elements into new constellations. In borrowing from established frameworks and reshaping them, they seek not only to preserve certain resonances of the past, but also to create something that speaks meaningfully to the present or future.
